Let's start out with talking about our sweet girls.
Anna-Claire recently started going to school at First Christian's Prep School. It has been so much fun watching her learn about her ABC's, colors, and numbers! So far she can recognize the letters C and T. I think her favorite part of school is music seeing that she is ALWAYS singing and "playing" the drum. School has been very good for AC because it keeps her busy. I have been told by AC's doctor that she is well above other children her age and that she needs to be challenged or else we may end up having a little trouble maker on our hands! Let me say having someone else say that to me scares me to death! She is such a smart girl!
Aubrey definitely has the personality of youngest child. Philip and I had mad
e up our minds when I first found out I was pregnant with Aubrey, that she would be our last. It's so fun watching all the differences in her and Anna-Claire. Aubrey has proven to be more high maintenance then AC was as a baby. Aubrey was diagnosed very early with acid reflux and was put on Axid to treat it. Unfortunately that did not work, and after I switched her to formula, we were sent to the GI specialist. Aubrey was admitted to the hospital and we had three different tests run on her. Those tests came back that yes she did have acid reflux, her tummy did not empty completely, small hernia in her intestines, and a milk protein allergy. She was put on an amino-acid based formula which was going to cost us a fortune! Thank God for Phil the formula rep! Fast forward to today, Aubrey is doing amazing! Still is allergic to milk but has outgrown the reflux and no longer has the hernia! The latest with her is her mucousy eye....which has been around since she was born. We are going to an opthamologist in either Tyler or Dallas depending on which we can get into first. On top of this we recently noticed that her left (mucousy) eye is lazy at times. Hopefully we will get everything figured out soon!
